Today we learned about emerging technology and my group picked the History of Cell Phones. This is some info on their History:

April 3rd, 2003 marked the 30th anniversary of the 1st Cellular call by Martin Cooper on April 3rd, 1973. The first Cell phone was called the Brick phone because it was the size of a brick. It weighed two pounds. The Cell phone cost $3,995 ! Many people thought it was over priced and clunky for a cell phone the size of a brick!

(I think my cell phone weighs barely 2 ounces!!!)
